Kenya White Tea – Hand-Rolled Elegance from Mount Kenya

A rare gem from the highlands of Mount Kenya, this hand-rolled white tea defies convention. Crafted by the small-scale farmers of Kangaita Tea Factory, this tea marries the delicate sweetness of white tea with the richness and depth usually reserved for black teas.

Unlike typical white teas, its long, golden-silver leaves unfurl into a smooth, full-bodied cup with notes of stone fruit, wild melon, and a warm caramel finish. Think the elegance of a fine Chinese Dian Hong, reimagined in the foothills of Africa.

Produced at elevations up to 2,200m and harvested in May 2024, this tea is the result of careful hand-plucking and traditional rolling techniques that bring out layered malt and grain notes. There’s zero bitterness — just a clean, lingering sweetness that calls you back for another sip.
